Watching Texas Holdem Poker On TV

Posted by: From Arkansas in Games and Fun stuff, Odds And Ends on Sep 09 2007

Welcome back!

For a while, poker on TV really fascinated my husband and me. We watched it because of the strategies. Our favorite was Texas Holdem. We particularly liked that because it was so different than what we had known poker was like. Most of the time, it’s totally boring. But it was so much different on television. We ended up having favorite players too. Ours was Daniel Negreanu who has made some millions in this type of work.

When they broadcast the shows, you could see everything they did because the camera angle was from above the poker tables most of the time. We could hear the conversations too. Almost all of the professional players know each other so it was just fun for them. Most of the time. Now, we have other interests and rarely watch the games anymore but it was fun while it lasted.
