Visiting Down Under As Cheaply As Possible

Posted by: From Arkansas in Odds And Ends, Travel on Sep 06 2007

Welcome back!

Once upon a time, I wanted to go to Australia and visit those “down under”. I have been fascinated with that country for a lot of years. These days, because of health difficulties it would be difficult to do…but I can still dream. So, I was thinking about it a lot some years ago and I would suggest starting in Sydney where I know you would not get bored by any means. Hey, they have this huge roller coaster in Luna Park plus boats and seaplanes. You could stay at one of many Hotels in Sydney while you make up your mind about the attractions.

If that isn’t your cup of tea, or even if it is, you could always take a small trip to Brisbane. Hotels in Brisbane are going to surprise you with how inexpensive they can be. Many are close to and in walking distance of the central or southern part of the city where the Museum & Performing Arts Centre is located.

Do not miss going to Melbourne for tennis and Formula One racing. The nightlife is booming as are the arts and theater. Bring your sense of adventure when you visit Melbourne so that you can seek out the wonderful bars and the restaurants that are hidden away in the small alleyways. For your comfort, the Hotels in Melbourne cater to your needs as you visit the land down under.

Whoo Whoo! That’s great. I would love to know about your trip when you get back! I want to see Australia but that isn’t possible at the moment. Sigh.
