How About That Texas! Been There?

Welcome back!

I used to travel down to Texas every few months to visit friends of mine who live about 35 miles south of Waco. They were always wanting me to visit because I brought my puppy and we went to a convention in Fort Worth together. After the convention, we would travel back to their house and I could stay with them as long as I wanted. It was sort of like a Texas bed and breakfast except I got lunch and supper too!

I sure do miss those days and their cat. The one they used to have was a real tom cat that looked a lot like a wildcat. They have since moved to an apartment and the place is simply too small for them and us. I got married and they don’t know him yet. I’m looking forward to my friends meeting my husband. But it looks like we have to actually get a room now. ACK! That costs money! I think I’m a cheapskate. LOL!
