When You Need To Light Your World

Where we live in the small village, it’s very dark at night. There’s a street light way off in the distance but not close to our house. The problem is that where we live there’s much woods around our house. Too many times, I have heard sounds outside that were coming too close to the house. We simply do not have enough lighting for our area.
We have a carport that is usually a little lit up with a couple of lightbulbs but they burn out quickly since we keep them on each night. It would not be too difficult to install fluorescent lighting in the middle of the carport to make things a lot brighter. I know I would feel safer for it.
