Summer, Fall, Winter…It’s Still Fruit Time

Welcome back!
One of the things I love the most about places that sell fruit all year long is that I can get my favorites all year for affordable prices in wonderful gift baskets. It really does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that through the winter, especially, you need all the vitamins and minerals that you can get. The absolutely best way to do that is natural.
The Fruit Company in the Hood River Valley is one such place where you can sign up for a monthly gift basket of the premium fruit of your choice. The monthly fruit club offers you a chance to have oranges in January, pears in March, blueberries in June, peaches in August and apples in November. Don’t worry. All the months are covered with your favorite fruit in a choice of several plans. When Christmas comes up and that pesky list has Aunt Bertha who has everything, you can give her a gift basket from the Fruit Company.
One of the things that impresses me with this company is that it is totally family owned since 1942 giving quality product at affordable prices. Did I mention the cheesecake? (I love cheesecake) These cheesecakes have 2 lbs. of cream cheese in them! ACK!
If I did what I want to, I would be in cheesecake overload. But that’s all right. They have plenty of choices there too. Each of the 11 types of cheesecake have different fruit choices in them. This just gets better and better. Then when they make them, the cheesecake gets cooled quickly and sent to you in a special cool-pack container to insure freshness and goes straight to your door. Ah, desert is happening tonight!
