Artificial Life In Three To Ten Years Say Scientists
Posted by: From Arkansas in Are You Kidding Me?, News And More Stuff, What Were They Thinking? on Aug 19 2007
Welcome back!
News like this, artificial life in three to ten years, is pretty scary to a person who believes that only God can truly make life happen. There will be those who think they can do this but it will not end up the way they thought it would. Unfortunately, the scientists are not looking at what will happen when they do this. Neither did they see all the implications of the atom bomb when they made that.
This is not going to turn out well at all. I am against cloning too. Life, as we know it, is created by only One and He is not sharing that. Maybe it is possible for the scientists to do such a thing but they have not asked themselves this: We have become able to do this, make artificial life. “We tried so hard to see if we could, we never asked ourselves if we should.” That was something like a quote from Jurassic Park. The chaos guy there was saying it. Nevertheless, I think he has something. The question really isn’t that we can, it’s “should we?”
In my opinion, the answer to “if we should?” most certainly is NO, we should not. It will open up a Pandora’s Box that no one ever thought would happen. No, no, a thousand times no. And, of course, those who are so bent on doing this will not listen to those who believe it will be tragic and damaging. What are they thinking?
