You Have To Wonder! Pres. Candidates On Daily Show

Welcome back!
You have got to be kidding me. The Presidential candidates are getting some television exposure on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I am wondering here what the big draw is. However, four of the contenders want to be on Comedy Central’s goofy news show. Thing is, it isn’t only one party represented in this.
For instance, first guy to get in the hotseat is Sen. Joseph Biden, Dem from Delaware. He’s been here before. Republican Sen. John McCain from Arizona follows shortly. He’s also been there before..10 times, in fact. Then comes former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson. Finally, Sen. Barak Obama will be a guest for the second time, first as a candidate. While this can be fun, there is a real risk if they do not do well on a comedy show. But the fun part is where they show a rich sense of humor….or don’t. Candidates John Edwards, Chris Dodd and Bill Richardson have already shown up on the show.
I do find it interesting that candidates for President of the United States having to go to this extreme to get their messages out. But, they will either have a sense of humor throughout the show or they bomb. I suspect that they will not do well in other places if they do badly there. That’s a lot of power for a comedy show, don’t you think?
