Time To Help Someone In Need In A Big Way

Most of the time when you see the donations boxes or cups, whoever they are are looking for a smallish donation for their causes (think Santa at Christmas). At times, mostly at Christmas, people donate larger amounts of food and clothes to ministries that are supplying the less fortunate so that they can have a better holiday.
Now there is a ministry that is going the extra mile…literally. These folks are seeking Car Donations to help those that cannot help themselves, regardless of the reason. They are Car Angel Ministries, a place where they care enough to partner with charities all over the country to help single mothers with children, homeless people, addicts, orphans, help with food distribution and so much more. They fund boy’s homes, do outreach work in prisons (which is much needed. I have known folks in those ministries. Things are getting done there!).
The idea is to donate that car, truck, RV, house or boat. You pick the charity. Car Angel Ministries does all the work for you. They take care of picking it up (running or not), if that’s applicable. If they don’t have your particular charity on their lists, tell them. They will add it. And, naturally, it is all tax deductible.
So, if you have that car you wanted to trade in, why not donate it. It makes you feel better and you wouldn’t get that much on trade-in anyway.
