A Blogger Talking To The Advertisers

Welcome back!
Hi,
I am a blogger who sometimes gets paid to blog about products and services through several sites. Advertiser, if you have a product or service that could be blogged about, why not choose to go to the sites that will help you achieve what you are looking for, namely traffic to your site. We promote you! Help us do that. But there are a couple of tips on this blogging thing.
1) Please do not give the blogger too many tasks to perform if you are unwilling to pay a little more for all that. We are willing to give you a review but it will be much better all around if you value your product or service and be willing to pay a little more for the advertising. More than 2-3 links might be too much. Give us a button, banner, icon for your website. I love putting those in my posts. I link them to your site too!!
2) If you want more than 200 words, please be ready to pay at least $15 for that. If you only want 50 words, we can help you there too but I have a hard time sticking to that number.
Please do not ask us to blog more than about a 100 words and 4 or 5 links if you have a $5 budget.
3) We hope that you have a good product or service because if you want a positive review, you need a good item. You can ask for a neutral review and it will likely be more truthful. I hate to say it but if your item is boring, it will definitely get a boring review. Help us help you! The more info we get, the better it works.
4) Some places are able to work with simple links in a post. That is also a great way to get your product out there. Make sure your text for a link sounds reasonable. I have had a couple that made zero sense but the advertiser wanted that particular text. Hey, what do we do with text like “brain hats mice”? Does this make sense to you? I’ve had things that sounded that bad. Be good to us.
5) Know what bloggers really love? CONTESTS!! Give us a contest and we can blog ourselves silly about your product or service!! (make it a really good prize…we love cash!….vacations..oh well. You get the idea.)
Oh hey, one of the things I really do not like is for an advertiser to expect me to sign up for their product, even if I don’t want to, in order to get the opp. At that point, if I do not really like the service, I have to drop the opportunity altogether or you get a possible negative review. There have been some places that I really like that I did sign up. (Thoof at the bottom of this post is one. I recommend it!) But, there were a couple of places I believed all they wanted were more members. That does not work.
I also have a couple of suggestions for advertisers and bloggers as to where to go to both advertise your product and service or to be a paid blogger:
Both places are seeking new advertisers and bloggers. Time to get into the action!!

Very good. I never had that courage to speak out on behalf of paid bloggers.
I am inspired.
I’m glad you are inspired. I hope that other bloggers and advertisers get that way too. The more inspired an advertiser is, the more the blogger gets to do. That works for everyone! Thank you for visiting.
