Are Our Blogs On Track?

Welcome back!
This is a question that gives me a problem from time to time. See, I read several forums where the people are getting paid for sponsored posts. There are those who believe that when they create a blog with a theme that it should be only that theme blogged about. For instance, the blog is primarily about Physical Fitness then the posts ought to be about that and nothing else.
Then there are those who believe that it’s their blog and they can put up whatever they want, theme or no theme. In that case, it really doesn’t matter what the theme is since the person is not going to pay attention to it anyway.
Some people believe that you should stay within a certain area but can wander off from time to time. Frankly, that would probably be most people blogging especially if they’re doing some of it for payment. I probably fall into this category more than any other. The blog you are currently reading has a theme but it does sometimes get lost in the shuffle of sponsored posts once in a while.
Actually, this blog is for my opinions to be expressed. Period. When I have a sponsored post, I will give my opinion on whatever it is. There are some subjects that are simply too hard to deal with though. Sometimes, it’s a real stretch to get the paid post to work inside my blog theme. See, I have no opinion..good or bad….about things like peptides. I dunno what the heck the thing is let alone what it does. And early on in my blogging, I took an opportunity to blog about that subject. BAH!!! It was a choice and I blew it really.
There are places out there that require you to blog about things that do not exactly fit into the theme of the blog but I have found that even they are worked out if you simply use a little thought and resource. But I will probably always turn down any more opps that have the word peptide in them again.
For what it’s worth, sometimes I think that my friends on the forums tend to get too serious about the themes of the blogs. It is, after all, a personal opinion journal, no matter what else is said. It is ALL about opinion. And that is why my blog is never off track. EVER!!! Well, unless someone else writes my blog for me. Then it isn’t my opinion anymore. It’s theirs. Now that would be off track.
Tell you what. Stick with what you know and want to know. You won’t go wrong there.
