The Water Ain’t What You Thought

One thing I cannot stand is to find out that I have been scammed, particularly by some company that is putting things over on the public. I give you Aquafina! Scam artists to the max. although, in my opinion, we should have known. In fact, I’ve said this before that I thought it would be just like those companies to put tap water into the bottles everyone thinks is so good for them…..and voila! Aquafina did just that.

They have these letters on the label that no one could figure out what it meant. P.W.S. The mystery was solved when they came clean recently. It means Public WATER System. ACK! All those bottles of water came from the same place you get yours…the sink. All those bottles I consumed thinking it was safe for my family and me. ACK!! Oh wait. I didn’t buy into that crap. I never bought them.

You know what’s really wrong with this picture? The fact that the company is possibly going to get out of the deception court cases because, like it or not, they did sort of have that on the label all the time. Well, it was there. If you wanted to know what it meant, you probably had to ask someone. So, how many people are going to do that? Yeah. That’s the problem in a nutshell.

The bigger picture here is…how many other companies are doing the same thing? Most of them? I would bet on that. So, what’s your opinion of all this? Your turn.
