Pilot Forgot Something! Landing Gear! OH NO!

Welcome back!
He was scouting good fishing sites when he started into the landing pattern for coming down at an unfamiliar small airport. He was distracted by another plane taking off. So he glides in for the touch down and….whoops!! The plane goes in on it’s belly, skidding down the runway for a few hundred feet before coming to a stop.
Fortunately, he was not hurt nor was the plane damaged very much. Apparenly, his family crossed his mind at the time and he decided then that he did not want his children to be without a father. He is blessed and thankful to be alive today. Thing is, he was going to drive but decided to fly since it was such a beautiful day!
