Danger In The Yard!!! The Garden Hose?????

Welcome back!
I remember when my friends and I would be in the yard in the summer playing. We would get really hot so we go to the hose, turn on the water and take a huge drink. Ah, that was good. Then we squirt each other. It was fun and fantastic. I was probably 10 or 11 years old. There was no danger from anything in the yard. Now, it seems that your garden hose is toxic to your body and to your children. Oh come on!!!!!!
Okay, there is this chemical (called lead…extremely dangerous levels of it) that they have in the material of the hose that can cause…are you ready for this one??? Cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm..whatever that means. No child should ever have that much of that. Ever. What it does mean is that somebody needs to get sued big time for messing with something that was not a problem some years ago. What were they thinking??
The real problem here is that it does not matter what the product or service is, somewhere someone is going to come up with a reason that it or something about it causes some type of health hazard to someone in the world. I absolutely cannot believe that a simple garden hose can be this hazardous. Yet, I will not allow children to drink from one ever again. The chemicals are there. They are reality. The companies are responsible for this situation. And I can see the lawyers lining up to go after them. But the real issue is that the companies knew this because they put a warning on each label in tiny, little letters telling about the danger. Oh that helps, I am certain.
