Dad Made Window Treatments

Posted by: From Arkansas in Odds And Ends on Jul 08 2007

Welcome back!

When I was a kid, my Dad had his own business making custom shades and blinds for customers. He would go out to the home and measure then build them. I saw what he made because I visited the shop occasionally. It was interesting to me even then.

After I left home, I was working for a place that did window treatments too. I was given an order for custom wood blinds. I had to cut them, string it together, varnish them and hang them, with a partner, installing in a nursing home office. I enjoyed every minute of working on them and putting up the finished product.

I can tell you that wood blinds are elegant and very fine looking. They appeal to everyone’s taste. Blinds Chalet has the product you want online. The bonus is the free shipping!
