A Simple Gripe And Simple Fix
Posted by: From Arkansas in Odds And Ends on Jul 08 2007
Welcome back!
This is going to sound goofy but it is happening to us. A gripe is a gripe. When we moved into this house that we currently live in, we did enjoy the new home because it was not up a gigantic hill to get into the carport like it was previously. The house had three bedrooms, a blessing especially to two young ladies who wanted to be in their own rooms and not sharing a room as before. Lots of things were great about this house.
But there was this one tiny little detail that really got to me. There are seven houses on our street. Each house has it’s own mailbox but of all the mailboxes on the street, only OURS is across the street from us. Hello? What did we do wrong here? I do know that we could probably get it moved but I do also know it is a big hassle. Know why?
Because technically it belongs, sort of, to the post office. It is placed where it is and the post office knows where it is. If we were to move it they would have a blue faced fit. I should tell you that I have no earthly idea what a blue faced fit actually looks like so I have no idea what to look for. So, I think we will leave it as it is for now and just gripe about it. There, now isn’t that better?
