Tenor Recording Sacred Songs

Posted by: From Arkansas in My Take on Things, The Good Things on Jul 03 2007

Welcome back!

Luciano Pavarotti, one of the most recognised tenors in the world, despite battling pancreatic cancer, is doing work on a recording of sacred songs. He will be finished with the recordings of classical religious music by the end of August or early September. The public can anticipate the release of the CD in an early month of 2008.

Despite his obvious illness, he has been teaching a group of selected students everyday. Pavarotti is spending his time in his home in Modena, his hometown, where he works on the recording of wonderful music, and his villa in Pesaro, a seaside resort. Although it is tough dealing with this disease, he keeps his sense of humor up says the family.
