Big Question–Why Is Satellite Better Than Cable?
Posted by: From Arkansas in Odds And Ends on Jul 02 2007
Welcome back!
This is one question that I can talk about with a bit of knowledge since we have had both cable and satellite TV. Cable is good for a few channels, not bad reception, weather does not affect the picture unless it is interrupted at the other end. Currently, we do have cable. Frankly, I wish we didn’t. The cable company gave us a new “deal” recently. It was supposed to be a money saver. When we first signed up, it was for a set price with an increase of $10 at the end of the year. That happened. Then, after we did get past the year, up went the price…not $10 but about $30. They said we had to take the regular price for 3 months. We have never had the better price since. I am ready to change back to satellite.
But, how do you know what price is great? The Satellite TV Deals online give you a comparison shopping experience so that you can find the best deals for the best price. When we had satellite, it was great. Of course, in those days, the weather did interfere with reception but now the technology is better and you get a much better deal all around. On this site, you can compare DISH and DirecTV for package deals that will knock your socks off. So, if you want to preserve your socks, check out the specials and opportunities that you can find online at the Satellite TV Deals page.
