All The Media Stuff About The Elections Drive Me Nuts

I get nuts with these political things going on right now. Ya know, I remember when you saw stuff about an election a few weeks before the actual event but nothing like when it started this time, about two years from an election. Come on!!

Then, on top of that, the list of offenders….uh, candidates is growing like warts. There’s one there. There’s another one here. They grow faster than we can absorb what they stand for. Most of them stand for getting elected and not much else even to hear them talk.

Everyone is slamming somebody else to get their mugs in the media and the media let’s them do it. Yikes! Is it ever going to be over? Worse, are we going to have someone in the White House that is totally unacceptable.

Oh yeah, I am sure that a lot of you think that about the current President. I am not sure how much I am willing to agree with concerning him but I have to say this. Everybody loved him when Sept. 11th happened. We were all in love with each other then. All the congress forgot to fight for one microsecond and hugged. Big singfest on the front steps. Does no one remember these things?

EVERYBODY wanted to go get Binladen. Everyone wanted to do to them what they did to us. What happened there? With all our technology, are we unable to get ahold of one guy that deserves to be in court convicted of his crimes?

Well, I can tell you one thing that has happened. Amnesia. All those “holier than thous” out there that now hate the war and want to pull out have conveniently forgotten why we were there in the first place. Ah yeah. They say that because we didn’t find the WMD that the jerk had…oh like….**12 years** to hide….we should not be there anymore. Does no one remember the MASS GRAVES that the jerk and sons dug in the ground all over that country, filled with people that DISAGREED with his dictatorship??? Does no one remember that the jerk thumbed his nose at all authority for those 12 years. Hmmm?

No, I am not in favor of continuing the war either but I also do not see pulling out all at once. Why? Because then the nastys, just like in Vietnam…..oh how soon we forget……get the country. Does no one remember Vietnam? Yeah, they remember that they hated the war that wasn’t allowed to be called a war. They remember that many of ours died there. They remember the atrocities. Does anyone remember that the North Vietnamese were the bad guys and they got the country? Does anyone remember that our country, who gave up instead of winning, ended up being the butt of the world and that has NOT changed significantly since?

When are the people of this country going to get a clue and wake up?
